BIOGRAPHY:
Since his first days of running bumps, it's always been moguls for Park City's Nate Roberts; never alpine, never a deviation. He made his World Cup debut in 2003, won his first World Cup contest the next season and captured the Worlds gold medal in moguls in 2005. After an injury sidelined Roberts for the 2009 season, he went into the 2010 competitive season ready to prove himself on an Olympic platform after just missing the cut for the 2006 Torino Games. A World Cup podium in the second competition of the season was enough to earn him a spot on the Vancouver Games Moguls Team.

NATE SAYS:
Being in the start gate at the Olympics was a dream come true. I've been in the start gate for World Cups hundreds of times, but to be in the start, representing the U.S. and my Team, was a feeling that can't compare to anything else.

Right now, I am focusing on getting healthy. I've had a couple knee surgeries this summer and am really focusing my efforts on getting healthy, not only for the upcoming season but for the rest of my life.

FIRST TRACKS:
Roberts was skiing at age three in Park City and moved into moguls competition at Seven. "It's been moguls all the way," he said. "I never raced." Winning the 2003 NorAm moguls title was a major confidence boost for him. And when he won his first World Cup a year later - under the lights at Madonna di Campiglio, coaches said they could see a major pick-me-up in his confidence as he realized he really did belong with the world's best.

OFF THE SNOW:
I play golf as much as I can.
