BIOGRAPHY
This Bristol Mountain Race Club product racked up five top-15 NorAm results in his rookie season on the U.S. Ski Team. He then impressed coaches with a seventh-place result at his first National Championships. Being just 16 years old, Lillis was limited to NorAm events during the 2011 season. He turned the circuit into his own training ground, earning seven top-five finishes including three podiums and a win, finishing the season ranked second.

A silver medal at the FIS Junior World Championships marked the end of another season of progress in 2012. His first World cup top-10 came in Mont Gabriel in January earned him the 2012 World Cup Rookie of the Year award.

JONATHON SAYS
My highlights this year were as follows: First year doing and competing triple flips, top ten at Mt Gabriel World Cup, World Cup rookie of the year, second at Junior World Championships, junior national champion.

I’m looking forward to being closer or on the podium at all the World Cups and competing the tricks needed to win in 2014.

FIRST TRACKS
A ski racer by the age of nine, Lillis’ attraction to the jumps and bumps eventually led to his being kicked off his race team. The competitive juices still flowing, he turned to the moguls and aerials. After a few seasons of two timing, he narrowed it down to aerials and over two years of sharpening his skills with Elite Aerial team in Lake Placid he was named to the U.S. Ski Team.

OFF THE SNOW
Lillis enjoys long boarding, wake boarding, water skiing and inline skating. He also plans on pursuing a career in sports marketing.
