BIOGRAPHY:
Kloser has been a sport fanatic since day one. Almost immediately, she realized her true love for skiing. Kloser's father’s background in moguls competition and growing up on a mountain are the two main reasons why she has two sticks attached to her feet most of the time. As soon as she was able to rip up the slopes, Kloser was headed right for the bumps and jumps. Six years after her introduction to skiing, she entered her first moguls competition at the age of seven. Kloser tore into her World Cup rookie season in 2010 with four consecutive top-15 finishes, earning her the FIS World Cup women’s moguls Rookie of the Year title. Four NorAm podiums, including two wins, sealed up that overall title for her as well. As a U.S. Ski Team sophomore, she hauled in three World Cup top-10 finishes in 2011 and added a third-place finish in duals at U.S. Championships.

HEIDI SAYS:
The highlight of my 2011 season would be being the first girl to throw a backfull and D-spin in the same comp run. I am happy with the way my second season on the U.S. Ski Team went. I was really excited that I got to go to all of the World Cups even though I ended up not competing in France because I took a really hard fall. I got to compete in World Championships, which was a good experience. I have not skied World Cups a year when they did not have the Olympics or World Championships, so I guess that all of the effort and energy will be put into the World Cup circuit. I would like to be in the top 10 on the World Cup circuit next year.  I am graduating from high school and won't have to travel with all my text books …YES!

FIRST TRACKS:
Kloser began slaying the hill at the ripe age of one with her father at Vail, CO. “Growing up in Vail gave me so many opportunities to excel in sports,” she says. “I raced in the town mountain bike series and the town Nordic series. I got my start in mogul competitions in Vail's Mogul Mania events at age seven. I was hooked. My dad had competed in moguls and owned and operated the World Pro Mogul Tour in the 1980's, so it is in my blood.”

OFF THE SNOW:
Heidi has always done a lot of mountain and road biking (it is good transportation to and from training in the summer). She grew up climbing the Colorado 14ers with her family. She also likes to play ball sports, she finds them fun and good training. When she was 11 years old she got a hole in one in a golf tournament. She also enjoys nordic skiing, kayaking and anything adventurous.
