BIOGRAPHY:
Buffalo Ski Club’s Hans Gardner has been sniffing at the U.S. Championships podium since 2008. His work ethic has paid off the last two years with top-five overall NorAm rankings. He earned his spot on the U.S. Team during the 2011 season with two NorAm second-place finishes and three more top-five results.

HANS SAYS:
I've been working toward this goal for some time now so I'm ready to tackle some new goals the next couple of years. Next season, I want to compete in an international World Cup event, hopefully some in Europe. I want to go to the Sochi 2014 Games in Russia. My 2011 season started off slow, really slow. I gained some momentum when I did my first triples then competed in my first World Cup. Then I got four top fives in a row and shattered my old personal best. Making the team at the end of the season was a nice way to end the season.

OFF THE SNOW:
Away from the slopes Hans get into volunteering at local non-profit organizations, reading, slack lining, road biking, and skateboarding.
