      BIOGRAPHY
David DiGravio is a believer in the old saying, "It's not the size of the dog in the fight; it's the size of the fight in the dog." At 5-7, he isn't the biggest guy on the hill, but his inner fire - fueled from the time his older brother was out-skiing him - keeps spurring him to do better.

As far as his coaches are concerned, David is one of the most determined athletes in the system. He trains hard, skies hard and competes with a vengeance. With eight top-15 World Cup results in 2011, DiGravio marked his career high World Cup overall ranking in 10th, showing the consistency he has worked for. DiGravio tacked on two more World Cup top-10 results in 2012 and heads into the 2013 with more than enough motivation to take that next step.

      DAVID SAYS
I learned that you got to get your mind right...Losing is not fun. I am looking forward to competing again in 2013. My goal is to win. Nothing changes because it's a "pre-Olympic year.".

      FIRST TRACKS
The DiGravios skied at Sugarloaf when he was a tyke, and eventually moved from outside Boston to Farmington, less than an hour away. He entered CVA in the eighth grade. "We went from skiing weekends at Sugarloaf to making the fulltime commitment. Ever since I started, I've wanted to ski on the World Cup and go against the best guys in the world," he said. "To do that, you've got to practice every day, and CVA helped me do that." His multiple ski skills became especially apparent at the 2004 Junior Olympics at Idaho's Silver Mountain when he won the dual moguls title, took bronze in halfpipe (he was silver medalist in 2002) and was fourth in moguls; in 2005, DiGravio took silver in moguls, bronze in duals

      OFF THE SNOW
When he’s not skiing he’s working on his skiing at the water ramps, trampolines, strength and conditioning sessions, nature hikes and “gettin' that pump.” Other interests: Chillin at home, watching TV, and reading.
